Showroom Live, one of ICAA‘s hallmark events, is a monthly webinar series where the ICAA and its members present new ideas and product innovations targeting to the active aging market. For those unaware of the term, active aging is the process of optimizing opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance quality of life as people age.
The ICAA was formed in 2001 as a way to bring awareness to this market, turning the idea of an always healthy and active life into an entire industry. When the ICAA began, the active aging market was not a population fitness companies like Body-Solid would have focused on. Today with their help and the continued growth of the market population, active aging has become a focus.
