City of Brush Recreation
Nestled in the agriculturally-rich South Platte River valley, three hours northwest of Denver is the city of Brush!, Colorado. The exclamation point after Brush! dates back to 1978 when the Brush! Area Chamber of Commerce and the City Council began placing the exclamation point after Brush! to emphasize a “can do attitude.”
Families originally settled in Brush! after the Civil War and today continues its agricultural history with corn, soy, sugar beets and wheat.
Brush! is also home to the famous Brush Rodeo, the largest amateur rodeo competition in the world, held each and every July.
Recently, Body-Solid had the opportunity to work with the City of Brush!’s Recreation Department on a brand-new gym for their rec center.
With some help from Body-Solid dealer Fitness Giant, Brush! was able to install several Body-Solid pieces including the SLM300G Lat Mid Row, SGH500 Glute Ham, SMR1000 Commercial Multirack, SFID325 Bench, SLC400G/S Leg Curl as well as rubber grip olympic plates, dumbbells and rubber flooring.
