JP Zengerle opened the first Just You Fitness location in 2011. Seven years later, Just You Fitness boasts five locations in South and North Carolina and, if all goes well, many more locations in the near future.
“We want to continue to expand, help as many people as possible, and grow our concept across America,” said Zengerle, founder and franchisor of Just You Fitness.
Just You Fitness’ concept is simple, customers have an entire private, state-of-the-art facility to themselves: just the customer and a trainer.
“No contending for machines, no one staring, no distractions,” says Just You Fitness’ website.
Personal training sessions are tailored specifically for the customer’s personal goals: whether that’s to lose weight, gain mass or anything in-between.
“Our slogan is “Private Personal Training Focused on Just You” and that is what we specialize in,” said Zengerle. “We work with a variety of different types of clients with different goals. Our fitness professionals design custom programs around the unique needs of each individual.”
Zengerle himself is no stranger to personal training or fitness as he has a Master’s degree in Sports Fitness & Health with more than a decade in the personal training industry. Zengerle is ACE Certified in Personal Training, Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Senior Fitness Specialist.
Just You Fitness began franchising in 2016 and has continued growth of the last two years. The big reason for that. Just You Fitness franchisees and owners are passionate about their craft.
“We have some of the most passionate, knowledgeable business owners in the industry,” said Zengerle.
Recently, Just You Fitness purchase several pieces of Body-Solid equipment to add to their locations including a functional trainer, squat rack, barbell set, benches, rubber hex dumbbells and a dumbbell rack.
“I look for a mix between functionality, size and style when looking for equipment,” said Zengerle. “We want equipment that provides the most versatility while not taking up too much space.”
Zengerle and Just You Fitness worked with Body-Solid dealer Carolina Fitness Equipment to purchase and install Body-Solid equipment.
“The experience working with Carolina Fitness Equipment was great,” said Zengerle.
